STEP I – Application

  • Procurement of Form: The application form (common for all the programs) is available on our website www.bimtech.ac.in.
  • Filling up the application form
  • Application form Fee Application form can be filled out online followed by paying Rs. 2000/- through a Credit/ Debit Card.

STEP II – Selection Process, Venue & Document Verification

Call for Personal Interview

The second stage is of Personal Interview (PI). To avoid possible overlapping of the selection process with other B Schools and also to facilitate the early selection/offer of admission, we propose to have an early round (First Phase) of PI process after the third week of December 2022 itself which would be well before the declaration of CAT/XAT results. Here we intend to invite the majority of the applicants who apply on or before December 2nd, 2022 based on their profile as judged from:

  • Consistency and good past academic performance
  • Relevant work experience (if any) that brings value to the classroom learning

STEP III – Result

Declaration of Final Selection List:

Final selection list is prepared taking into account the candiate’s :

  • Past academic performance
  • Entrance test scores (CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT)
  • Performance in Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test based on their respective weightages
  • Work Experience (if applicable)
  • Other parameters, wherever applicable, as per the weightages table

STEP IV – Admission

Fee Submission:

  • The selected candidates are to deposit the first installment of tuition fee within the given time frame in the offer letter to ensure their admission, failing which the offer is passed on to the waitlisted candidates. The fee for boarding/lodging would be given separately at a later date.
  • Institute does not entertain any request for an extension of the deadline for the submission of the fee.

  • The academic session of all the programmes is likely to start on June 2023 (tentative).

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two-year, full-time residential programme that is deemed as equivalent to an MBA. This is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

  1. SSBF offers a full-time MBA in Banking and Finance for a duration of two years.
  2. Minimum eligibility for MBA is a candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent from a recognized institute/university.
  3. Selection is done on the basis of SNAP followed by GE, PI-WAT.

  • A key point in LBSIM Delhi Eligibility criteria is that all candidates are required to take the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 conducted by the IIMs or XAT 2023 conducted by XLRI, or should have a valid GMAT score.
  • Students are required to update their CAT/XAT score in their respective form after the declaration of results
  • Foreign students, PIO and NRI sponsored candidates are also eligible and are required to take the Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) at a test centre outside India.

CHRIST (Deemed to be University) is proud of its eco-friendly, serene & and peaceful environment and deeply committed to upholding the values system, it expects its students to conduct themselves in a worthy manner in their dress, demeanor, and sense of discipline. They must respect their teachers, greeting them when they meet them on or out of the university campus. They must rise when the teacher enters the classroom; remaining standing till they are directed to sit, or till the teacher takes his/her seat. When the attendance roll is called, each one must rise and answer to his/her name or register number. Students should be seated in their respective classrooms at the stroke of the bell. Action will be taken against students found loitering about in the corridors and making noise. Students are expected to make use of the library during free periods. Movement of the students in the corridors of the university buildings during lecture hours or sitting on the steps of the staircase or on the steps of the portico of the university is not permitted. Students must possess their identity cards, whenever they come to the university and show it to the persons concerned whenever asked for.

Congregating on the road in front of the university or at the entrance of the university is to be avoided. Students must drive their vehicles at the campus at a moderate speed. Smoking is strictly prohibited. Defacing any part of the campus is treated as an offence.

Students should maintain a sense of decorum and discipline at all times both inside and outside the university. Those who are guilty of serious misconduct or whose presence in the university is detrimental to the order and discipline on the campus are liable to be expelled.

Step-2: Document Verification

All documents submitted to CIMR for admission will be verified. Only applicants with complete set of the above documents (self-attested) will be eligible for CDPI process for PGDM admissions.

Step-3: Selection of CDPI Slot

Details of the process of booking slot (date and time) for the Online Comprehensive Discussion & Personal Interview will be updated on the website. Applicants will also receive an email on the on the details for the same.
Candidates who remain absent for the CDPI process shall be treated as non-eligible candidates for PGDM admission.

Step-4: Appear for the Online Comprehensive Discussion & Personal Interview

It is mandatory for the eligible candidate to attend the Online Comprehensive Discussion & Personal Interview process conducted by the institute without fail for the admission to the course.

During the Online Comprehensive Discussion & Personal Interview, applicants would be evaluated based on their clarity on Career Goals, Communication skills, Personality & General Bearing, Attitude, General Awareness, Balanced Thoughtful Consideration of Issue and Subject Knowledge.

Step-5: Display of Merit List

On selection in PGDM Admission Process on the basis of the merit list, candidates will be informed by email and their names will be displayed on the Institute’s Notice Board & website.

Shortlisted candidates are required to pay the Program fee on yearly basis.

Step-6: Become a Chetanaite

A payment link will be sent to all selected student for payment of fees. The payment details will also be published on the website.

Students who have paid fees, are required to attend the counselling session as per the schedule send by email and published on CIMR’s website. During this session, after payment of fees, candidates are required to bring along originals of the documents mentioned above in

Step 1 for verification and submission.

Eligibilty Criteria

Bachelor’s degree with 50% (45% for Reserved Category) marks in aggregate from a recognized University.

Candidates appearing for the Final Year Examination of any Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum three years duration can also apply subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria of admission. Candidates Appearing/Appeared and secured non-zero positive score or marks or equivalent score in any one of the equivalent examination such as CET- MAH-MBA/MMS / CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA/ CMAT valid for the year 2023.

The Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program is AICTE-approved and structured to provide a perfect combination of in-depth conceptual understanding and practical insights to tackle real-world business issues. The program comprises of 4 semesters spanning over 2 academic years, with specializations in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Operations, and Systems. The present in-take of the program is 180 seats.

The Admission Process provided below explains the common process followed across all Programs.

  • Each MBA Program may have additional components for selection based on its specific requirements.
  • Shortlist and Merit list for each Program is separate and independent of each other. Shortlist/Selection in one Program does not guarantee shortlist/selection for the other Program (for candidates who apply to more than one program).

Minimum Eligibility

A Graduate Degree from a recognized University with not less than 50% marks (Final year students may also apply. However, the admission shall be cancelled if they obtain less than 50% in their graduation).

GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) January 1, 2018- January 31, 2023, whichever is higher. Applicants can submit more than one test score.

Apart from high test score, TAPMI considers the overall profile of candidates. For example, the shortlisting considerations include academic profile (10th, 12th, Graduation marks), work experience, extra- curricular achievements, achievements in sports, contribution to social activities, entrepreneurial spirit, diversity, leadership potential, integrity and values. The entrance examination cut-off may vary slightly each year across programs, depending upon the profile of applicants and the suitability of the profile to specific program(s). Students shall be informed about the shortlist decision on their registered email address.

Stage II: Admissions Process

The stage II of TAPMI admission process consists of Moderated Group Discussion (MGD) and Personal Interview (PI).

1.Moderated Group Discussion (MGD): Moderated Group Discussion tests the ability of the applicant to interact within a group and enrich the discussion. MGD also evaluates applicant’s skills in Problem Solving, Confidence, Assertiveness, Persuasion, Collaboration and Communication.

  1. Personal Interview (PI): Through the personal interview TAPMI evaluates the applicant’s overall attitude and suitability towards management education, including aspects such as Self- Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, Leadership and Communication.

Person of Indian Origin (PIO)

Foreign Nationals

In acknowledgement of XIME’s vision of achieving global standards in Business Education and its sustained effort in this direction, XIME Bangalore was awarded International Accreditation for its PGDM programme in May 2014 by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programmes (ACBSP), a reputed global accreditation agency based in USA.

Eligibility criteria at XIME

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks for all subjects taken together (45% for SC/ST candidates).
  • Candidates who are appearing for their final year examination and are awaiting their results may also apply. However, they should have maintained an average of 50% marks in the degree course until then.
  • They should be completing all their degree examinations before 25th June 2023*. Such candidates are required to produce proof of passing the Degree examination with the minimum required marks of 50%, latest by 30th September 2023*.
  • Applicants who have un-cleared backlog papers in graduation, are not eligible to apply.

XIME Bangalore MBA/PGDM Selection Criteria

  • Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of score in XAT/ CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA / GMAT exams.
  • Students must have a credible score in any of the entrance exams.
  • Shortlisted candidates have to further undergo GD & PI sessions to secure admission.

PGDM                                         

The first year of the PGDM Programme starts with a coverage of foundation subjects which impart to the students a sound knowledge of the essential functional areas of business. In the second year, the emphasis shifts to elective courses, which are designed to give the students as wide a choice as possible, to specialize in areas of their interest and acquire advanced knowledge and skills. The programme rounds off with a strong emphasis on integrative and value-oriented courses such as Business Policy, Business Ethics and Environmental Issues so as to make the student not only a competent manager, but also a socially responsible citizen. Considering the phenomenal growth and importance of IT industry, current topics related to Big Data, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things are included in the programme.

A summer project spread over eight weeks between the first and second years enables the students to put into practice many of the key concepts they will have learnt.

PGDM Business Analytics

The field of Business Analytics has assumed universal importance in the recent years, owing to the adoption of digital transformation strategy and what is termed as Industry 4.0 strategy. This has created a growing demand for managers with requisite business analytics skills to process large amount of data being collected and take effective business decisions based on it. The short-term courses offered in business analytics by many institutions are proving inadequate to meet the skills that are in demand. Hence it is the right time to launch a full term program to prepare and train the next generation managers for business and industry needs in respect of Business Analytics.

Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) was introduced in SIESCOMS in the year 2001. MCA is a two year full time program affiliated to the University of Mumbai and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. Spanning over four semesters, the course not only includes subjects that give a good grounding in the IT concepts & latest technologies, but also includes subjects like Soft-Skills to prepare the students to be more competent and are ready to face the dynamic corporate world. The programme offers a variety of Skill based courses to expose students with the latest tools used in the industry. Value in the Name

The basic value thread at Symbiosis is that of caring and nurturing. The thread expands into a finely woven symbiotic system where thousands benefit. The name Symbiosis was coined with a special meaning – that of allowing various international cultures to culminate at a point and grow together. The idea was to promote a healthy and nurturing atmosphere for all students and the term ‘Symbiosis’ perfectly suited as it stands for co habitat of biological systems.

Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – The World Is One Family

In ancient Hindu and Vedic philosophy, the world was construed as a huge family. The Vedic civilization did not regard the geographical boundaries as a division of the world. The thought that the entire earth is united in essence and a huge family imprinted on the Vedic lifestyle. The Sanskrit phrase, ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (the earth is a single family) signifies this thought. Inspired by this philosophy, Dr. Mujumdar put his first steps forward as he created a blueprint for Symbiosis in 1971. He truly believed that the various foreign students studying at his institution were all part of a huge family.

Through his experience at the Fergusson College, he pondered on the difficulties faced by foreign students. Thus in 1971 he established “Symbiosis”, which means ‘living together of two different organisms for mutual benefit’. Therefore, the main dictum at Symbiosis is “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”.

Hyderabad, the capital city of the Indian state of Telangana was founded by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah in the year 1591 along the banks of river Musi. It also goes by its sobriquet City of Pearls.
