What’s New at IMT Ghaziabad? XAT exam date 2023 has been announced on Aug 8. The XAT registration 2023 will take place between Aug 10 and Nov 30 and the exam will be conducted on Jan 8, 2023. IMT Ghaziabad also invites applications for its PGDM-WE course and the last date to apply is Aug 31. The result for the same is expected to be out between Sep12 and Sep 15.

IMT Ghaziabad Housing

A fully Air Conditioned new block of the hostel is under construction with state-of-the-art recreational facilities. This hostel block will house 500 students, the phase I of the said hostel has already been operational since June 2018. 300 students are already staying in this hostel. The second phase is likely to be completed by March, 2021.

The dining building houses an air-cooled dining hall for the students on the ground floor and air-conditioned dining hall for faculty, staff, and guests on the mezzanine floor. This building can cater up to 600 persons at one time. Other facilities at our institute include separate hostels for male and female students, extensive library facilities, seminar halls, reading halls, outdoor and indoor sports grounds, and medical room for staff, students, and visitors. The college mess offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

IMT Ghaziabad Recreation

An elegant auditorium building adds to the beauty of the campus and can accommodate 570 seated guests. It offers a spectacular venue for large conferences, seminars, film screenings, presentations, theatre and cultural performances of all kinds. Its audio-visual facilities promise guests a memorable experience every time they grace an occasion on campus.

Never starved for things to do, those in a sporting mood or the serious outdoor types can avail of the various recreational facilities. Outdoor sports include the game all of India is obsessed with – Cricket. Other outdoor games you can play on campus are Football, Volleyball, Badminton, and Basketball. Those who prefer getting their recreation in controlled indoor environs can indulge in games like table tennis, carom, and chess. The campus also has a well-equipped gymnasium complete with weights for students. Free to move as they please, students are often seen simply chilling at the amphitheatre. It is a favourite spot with many students who come here to unwind or for some peace and quiet while they concentrate on their studies. Various management computer games are a huge draw. Student teams organize themselves and compete with each other, trying their best to make that extra point better, go one level higher, and set new records. While studies and academics are in focus, the mind needs to unwind; student committees like the ‘Cultural Committee’ and ‘Sports Committee’organize myriad events throughout the year.

IMT Ghaziabad Convocation 2018

India’s premier management school with a distinct focus on grooming Leadership through Innovation, Execution and Social Responsibility, held Convocation 2018 on March 12, 2018, at its campus. Shri Shiv Nadar, Founder and Chairman, HCL, Shiv Nadar Foundation, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Shri Kamal Nath, President – IMT Governing Council, Member of Parliament, and Former Union Cabinet Minister presided over the event and awarded the diplomas to the graduating students.

A total number of 593 students from six programmes namely PGDM – Full Time; PGDM – Marketing; PGDM – Finance; PGDM – DCP; PGDM – Executive; PGDM – Part Time, graduated this year at the convocation ceremony. The event also announced the prestigious Distinguished Alumnus Award 2018 and Vishit Jain Memorial Award.

The 2018 Distinguished Alumni Awards were conferred upon Ms.MamtaSakia, an alumnus of the Class of 1991, the Chief Operating Officer of Bharti Foundation, for Social/Entrepreneurial Contribution; and, Mr SudhinMathur, an alumnus of the Class of 1990, Managing Director, Motorola Mobility India and Country Head Lenovo Mobile Biz Group, for Corporate Excellence. Since 2005, every year IMT Ghaziabad confers a Distinguished Alumni Award to its alumni for exceptional contribution to the industry and the institute.
