These are the minimum requirements before applying for a Discretionary Quota seat:
- ✓Graduation from any recognised statutory university — all disciplines eligible.
- ✓Minimum 50% aggregate marks in graduation. SC/ST candidates need 45%.
- ✓Valid entrance exam score — SNAP primary; CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT scores also accepted.
- ✓Consistent academic record across 10th, 12th and graduation — specifically valued for Discretionary Quota.
- ✓Final-year students awaiting results may apply provisionally.
- ✓Zero capitation fee — SIU policy strictly prohibits any donation or capitation charges.
Total course fee including hostel for the 2026–28 batch is ₹17.97 Lakhs (open category). Discretionary Quota academic fees are exactly double, paid for the full two-year duration.

Register for SNAP / Obtain Entrance Score
A valid SNAP, CAT, XAT, or MAT score is mandatory even under Discretionary Quota. SNAP registration opens in August; exam held in December. The threshold is more flexible than the open-category ~80 percentile.
Apply via the SIU & SIBM Hyderabad Portal
Fill the application on the official SIU portal. Pay the ₹2,250 SNAP application fee. Register separately on the SIBM Hyderabad portal to state your programme preference.
Express Interest in Discretionary Quota

Attend GE & PI Round
All candidates — merit and Discretionary Quota — must appear for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interaction (PI). Attending all components is mandatory to be eligible for the final selection list.
Receive Offer & Pay Fees
Once selected, pay the doubled academic fee via online transfer or demand draft. The Discretionary Quota fee structure applies for the entire two-year programme duration.
All four specialisations are open under Management Quota, subject to seat availability in each track.
