What Is Symbiosis Management Quota?
Symbiosis International (Deemed University), established in 1978, is one of India's most prestigious private universities for management education. Profile Evaluation & Institute Selection

SNAP Registration & Examination
Register at snaptest.org during the registration window (typically August–November). Appearing for SNAP is mandatory even under MQ. We guide you on preparation resources and mock tests.
Institute Application + Separate SOES Application
Pay the registration fee for your chosen Symbiosis institute(s). Simultaneously, submit a separate application to the Principal Director, SOES explicitly applying under the Management / Discretionary Quota. This dual-application approach is the key procedural step most candidates miss.
Shortlisting & GE-PI-WAT Call Letter
After SNAP results, shortlisted candidates receive a call for Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interview (PI), and Written Ability Test (WAT). This process is identical for both regular and MQ candidates. Selection weightage: SNAP 50%, GE 20%, PI 30%.
GE-PI-WAT Preparation & Performance

Eligibility Criteria — Management Quota 2026
While MQ offers an accessible route, Symbiosis maintains rigorous academic standards. All of the following criteria must be fulfilled:
- Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/Differently Abled/Kashmiri Migrant/Defence Personnel wards)
- Candidates appearing in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply (provisional admission)
- Valid SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) score — registration and appearance is mandatory
- Participation in GE (Group Exercise), PI (Personal Interview), and WAT (Written Ability Test) rounds
- Submission of a separate application to the Principal Director, SOES (Symbiosis Open Education Society)
- Strong academic record and/or work experience enhances chances under MQ
